Asia Arts and Crafts was born in 2004 after driving through a back street of a village in Northern Thailand on holiday. My wife and I saw a family laying gold leaf onto a small Buddha image panel, we stopped and watched them. The image was nothing like I had seen before, I then asked them if they could make them larger , the result is what you see on this website. The family now has a small workshop and are supplying products locally and abroad.
We also give regular donations to the local temple situated near Mae Rim called Wat San-bpu-Loei. The temple is being completely renovated with help from our family business. So far we have contributed towards a new roof, electricity and a new Sala for people to study and to do meditation.
We want to share with you these beautiful products not found in the High street shops whilst offering you a quality service.
We hope you find something that you, your family and friends will enjoy in years to come!
