Buddha Garden Videos - Buddhist Gardens of the World
Buddha Garden Statues- Serene in Nature
As part of the Buddha’s Face Buddhism 101 Project we love videos - both making them – (you can find them over at our dedicated YouTube channel ) – and finding them and presenting them as part of our Buddhism 101 project.
I thought as we were doing our Buddhas in Gardens project it might be cool to collect together a bunch of videos on Buddhist gardens and Buddhas in gardens.
I feel as a passionate gardener myself that gardening is about delighting in the smell of things growing in the garden’s soil, getting dirty in the garden without feeling guilty and generally taking time out in your garden to soak up a little peace and serenity that the garden can provide. In my garden I go to dream dreams,in my garden I go to contemplate,in my garden I go to relax - in my garden I just am - a lesson on the way to Buddha right mindfulness and a message down the centuries from the Buddha.
By singing: -"Oh, how beautiful!" and sitting in the shade.”

Our Top 10 Buddhist Gardens of the World
My ignoble attempt to rank the Top 10 Buddhist Gardens in the World ! One can't really rank one garden over another but as you will see my appetite for Japanese Zen gardens wins out in the end.
Buddhas in Gardens - Our New Buddha Face Garden Meditation
I collected some of the finest Buddha images and statues in gardens and put them together with a relaxing ambient soundtrack. A garden for my mind.A garden for my soul.A garden for my Buddha.
The Seasons of the Garden - Being There
One of my favourite movies of all time - Chancey the Gardener has a chance to talk to the President about the seasons of the garden. He has been a gardener all his life for one master and when he dies he has to leave his home and garden and interact with the outside world. His simplistic view on our modern world is taken to be profound knowledge by the high and mighty. It is the simple message of the Buddha translated into a modern idiom.
"As long as the roots are not severed, all is well. And all will be well in the garden."
"In the garden ?"
"Yes. In the garden, growth has it seasons. First comes spring and summer, but then we have fall and winter. And then we get spring and summer again."
Zen Garden - Tangerine Dream
Nature is of course the great garden of the planet and this movie to the tune of Tangerine Dream's Zen Garden is a beautiful journey through nature.
Japanese Zen Gardens
I particularly like the minimalism of the Japanese Zen Buddhist Gardens – and have collected some of the following videos which feauture some of the best Japanese Zen Buddhist Gardens around.
