The Temple in Cambodia know as Angkor Wat was part of the Khmer Empire between 9th and 14th centuries which stretched across present day Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam.

A common feature in all the temples and monuments was the Apsara and Devata. Both have been desrcribed as a 'fertility symbol' and 'daughters of pleasure'  

Angkor Wat the most famous of temples has over 1500 of these images carved in sandstone and no two are the same!

We have recreated this wonderful image and finished them in our colours to suit contemporary or traditional homes and gardens.
